Thiago Silva urges Ibrahimovic to stay at PSG

Thiago Silva has urged Zlatan Ibrahimovic to stay at Paris Saint-Germain this summer amid interest from Juventus and Manchester City.

The Serie A champions are closely monitoring the Sweden international's situation in the French capital in their search for a top striker, while City see the Sweden international as a good alternative in case they fail to land Napoli star Edinson Cavani.

However, his team-mate Thiago Silva has revealed his desperation for the club's talisman to remain at Parc des Princes and see their adventure through to its conclusion after both joined from PSG last summer.

"I hope Zlatan will stay at PSG. He can help the team and the club grow. I really want him to stay put," Thiago Silva told Le 10 Sport.

"I have not yet had the opportunity to talk to him about whether he has already made a decision on his future.

"He's a normal guy who always wants to win. He gets angry when things don't go well. Sometimes this is a good thing and sometimes it isn't. I see him as a positive guy, though, who gives strength to the team."

The 31-year-old has a contract with the Ligue 1 leaders until June 2015.

Manchester City to target Ibrahimovic if Cavani bid fails

Manchester City have held initial talks over a move for Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic should they miss out on first choice striker Edinson Cavani in the summer transfer window.

City director of football Txiki Begiristain has recently held talks with super-agent Mino Raiola, who represents Ibrahimovic and has publicly suggested the Swede may leave PSG at the end of the season.Juventus and AC Milan are also monitoring Ibrahimovic’s situation in the French capital but a transfer away from PSG this summer appears unlikely, given his enormous €13.6 million-a-year salary.Roberto Mancini, the City manager, has tried to sign Ibrahimovic in the past having worked with him at Inter, and regards the 31-year-old as one of the most complete strikers in the world. 

Begiristain has a close relationship with Raiola and is also a huge fan of Ibrahimovic, whose move from Inter to Barcelona he brokered in 2009.

But Mancini’s own position is under threat as Begiristain and chief executive Ferran Soriano oversee a root-and-branch review of the club.City are looking to complete their transfer business early this summer and are chasing a number of high profile targets, with €59m-rated Napoli forward Cavani their first choice.PSG have also been strongly linked with the Uruguayan, who has scored 32 goals this season and appears likely to leave Napoli this summer, although no formal offers have yet been made to the Serie A club.But PSG sporting director Leonardo insisted on Wednesday that Cavani was not a target while adding he was “100 per cent” sure that Ibrahimovic, who has scored 32 goals in all competitions since joining from Milan last summer, would stay at the Parc de Princes.City are determined to respond next season after losing out on the Premier League title to rivals Manchester United, and Begiristain and Mancini have prioritised signing a top class striker. Atletico Madrid forward Radamel Falcao remains a target, although the Colombian has expressed a preference for Chelsea should he move to the Premier League.

Bungkam Nice, PSG Semakin Dekati Gelar Juara

Les Parisiens bangkit dari keterpurukan setelah tersingkir dari Piala Prancis dan melangkah lebih dekat menuju gelar juara Ligue 1 berkat kemenangan atas Nice.

Paris Saint-Germain tidak ingin berlama-lama terpuruk setelah secara mengejutkan tersingkir dari Piala Prancis, tengah pekan lalu. Tampil sebagai tuan rumah, anak-anak asuh Carlo Ancelotti membekap Nice tiga gol tanpa balas untuk melangkah lebih dekat ke gelar juara Ligue 1 Prancis.

Tim tuan rumah tidak perlu menunggu lama untuk membuka keunggulan. Berawal dari serangan balik, Javier Pastore melakukan penetrasi ke dalam kotak penalti sebelum melepaskan umpan kepada Jeremy Menez. Penyelesaian sempurna Menez membawa PSG unggul 1-0.

Armada les Parisiens harus menunggu hingga pertengahan babak kedua sebelum menambah keunggulan. Itu setelah wasit menghadiahkan penalti kepada tuan rumah menyusul pelanggaran kiper David Ospina kepada Ezequiel Lavezzi di dalam kotak terlarang. 

Bukan hanya kecolongan penalti, tim tamu juga harus kehilangan kiper Kolombia yang mendapat kartu merah langsung.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic yang ditunjuk sebagai eksekutor tidak menemukan kesulitan berarti untuk menjebol gawang yang kini dikawal Joris Delle.

Clement Chantome kembali memaksa Delle memungut bola dari dalam gawangnya setelah menyambut bola hasil kerja sama Blaise Matuidi dan Ibrahimovic untuk membawa PSG menang telak 3-0.

Tambahan tiga angka membawa PSG kokoh di puncak klasemen dengan raihan nilai 70. Mereka unggul sembilan angka dari runner-up Olympique Marseille dan semakin dekat dengan gelar juara Ligue 1 pertama mereka sejak 1995.

Sementara itu, kendati gagal mencuri angka, Nice masih memiliki peluang merebut peringkat empat besar. Bercokol di peringkat enam, saat ini mereka membukukan 54 poin dan terpaut dua angka dari Lille di posisi empat.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic Tersanjung Dibidik Juventus

Striker Paris Saint-Germain Zlatan Ibrahimovic mengaku tersanjung mendengar kabar yang menyebutkan Juventus menaruh minat terhadap dirinya.

Juventus belakangan ini dikaitkan dengan pemain asal Swedia itu di bursa transfer musim panas mendatang, jika manajemen PSG bersedia menerima tawaran yang diajukan. Namun kontrak Ibrahimovic dengan PSG masih tersisa hingga 2015.

“Jika Juventus memang menginginkan saya, itu merupakan sebuah kehormatan bagi saya bermain untuk mereka,” ujar Ibrahimovic Sky Sports Italia.

“Mereka merupakan klub fantastis, dan tim yang hebat, serta memiliki proyek yang hebat.”

“Suatu kebanggaan mereka menaruh minat kepada saya. Tapi untuk saat ini saya hanya memikirkan PSG, dan memenangi gelar bersama mereka.”

Paris Saint-Germain Sepakati Transfer Edinson Cavani?

El Matador diklaim telah menyetujui kontrak berdurasi empat tahun dengan PSG.
Paris Saint-Germain telah menjalin kesepakatan dengan striker Napoli, Edinson Cavani, demikian klaim stasiun radio Prancis, RMC.


Menurut kabar tersebut, striker Uruguay beralias El Matador itu sudah setuju merapat ke Parc des Princes dengan kontrak berdurasi empat tahun mulai musim panas mendatang.


Meski belum mendapat lampu hijau dari Napoli untuk transfer ini, RMC menyebut Les Parisiens siap mengaktifkan klausul pelepasan sang pemain sebesar €63 juta. Jika itu dilakukan, kubu Partenopei tak bisa berbuat apa-apa untuk mencegah kepergian Cavani.


Sebelum munculnya kabar ini, pemuncak daftar marcatori Serie A 2012/13 dengan 23 gol itu dikait-kaitkan juga dengan sederet klub top Eropa lainnya, termasuk Real Madrid, Chelsea, dan Manchester City.
